Hard Cider Battered Fried Cheese Curds


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup Rose Hip Rosemary Hard Cider

  • 1 package of cheese curds

  • Vegetable oil (enough to fill medium sized pot 1/2 way up)


Recipe:

Mix together 1 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt Whisk 1 egg, then add to other ingredients Add 1 cup Rose Hip Rosemary Cider Stir together Add cheese curds to the bowl and coat with batter Heat vegetable oil to 375F Add battered cheese curds to the oil Cook until golden brown (about 1-1.5 minutes) Take fried cheese curds out of oil Let them cool slightly on a rack or paper towel Enjoy!
